Two guys hugging in Croatia? Homophobia?

Im not from Croatia nor have I been, but based on what I've seen and heard I can tell you as long as you don't flaunt it you probably won't be in any serious danger. Especially in Europe, even Eastern Europe, such things as hugging won't be paid much attention. Croatia might be homophobic, but it's not Jamaican style drag you out your house in the the night and savagely murder you with a machete homophobic. It's more like Texas in the 80's homophobic, you might get harassed or beat up at the worst for showing a public display of affection like holding hands or kissing, but they probably won't do anything overly violent to you if you keep to yourselves.
