Question on old toyota camry alternator?

I have an 88camry. the alternator recently pooped on me. as it was going, when I would put in in gear, or turn on the AC, the engine would slow down to such a slow idle it would almost die, then it did die. they told me that this is because it was drawing on the alternator and the alternator just didn't have enough oomph to keep the car going. so I got a new alternator. first few weeks it ran great, but now,whenever I put it in gear, it runs very , very slowly,the RPM's are like 300, barely enough to keep it running. and this is without the AC on. it acts like it's about to die at any second, just like it did before replacing the alternator. but you would think that the mechanic would have tested the entire system to see if it was something else. also it has had a recent tune up with new plugs and wires and rotor, etc. it's a fuel injected car. can anything else be going on here? the car does have 235,000 miles on it and usually runs so quiet it's like an electric car, it just purrs, but now it acts like it want's to die again when you put it in gear, and it did actually die once while in gear. the RPMS are sooo low, just barely enough to keep it running while in gear.

Relationship problems, help pleasee !?

So, there are these two guys that I really like. One who I have been talking to for a while now and he's ready to start a relationship, and the other guy is someone that I have always liked since I was younger, we've always had a crush on each other, but he was always to immature, and had a players mentality, never wanting to commit, so I had pretty much given up on him for the time being, but three years have passed since then. So that guy moved away for about a year, but now he's back, and I can tell he has matured a lot and it seems that he's changed his ways. And that's kind of what I've always been waiting for, for him to grow up and commit to someone if he really wants them. And now here he is living back here, and ready to commit to me, and of course I'd be all for it if I didn't have this delima with this other guy. So the other guy, like I said I've been talking to for a while now, and I really like him too, and he's definitely not the player type, he's been ready for a relationship for a while, I'm the one stalling this time. I feel like I could like the other guy a little more though, and maybe its because I've known him for so long. I just feel like whichever I choose, I'm going to miss out, and I know I am, because they both have different qualities. But guy number 1, the one who moved, it would be harder for me to trust that he wants to commit for a while since he was a player, though I feel like he has grown a lot since that time, I still am not completely sure and feel like he could still leave at any time. Guy number 2 like I said is ready to commit, and pretty much already is committed even though technically we aren't bf/gf yet. How do I get my husband to surprise me?

Its going to be our 1 yr anniversary soon. I dropped out from work to finish college. I always surprise my husband on every possible occassion- the first time we met, his b'day, christmas...anything...!! but he, he never does that! I had to recently write a term paper on the History of The Womens movement and Feminism. As a relatively young male, It opened my eyes to The Gender Gap. My wife and I got married over a year ago and I think I am ready for a child. The problem is, I don't know if my wife is. Why when i wire my rocker switch the led light will come on and the leds wont?

I recently installed led lights in my car with a three pronged toggle switch. I thought i set everything up right, Ground going to anything metal or neg terminal, red and positive wires going to the positive peg of the battery and the two black wires going to the acc input on the switch. I turned on my rocker switch and the led light went on on the rocker switch but my neon lights did not. Then i flipped the switch and my neon lights turned on but the led indicator didnt. please help!

Why do the richest countries use a massive number of immigrant non-citizen laborers ?

Minimum Wage laws. It prevents low skilled individuals from getting a low paying job and growing their job skills so they can eventually get a better one. So instead they end up on welfare or turn to crime. The illegal immigrants will work for even less. How to discuss engagement/marriage with my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I have been in a committed relationship for two years now, and we have discussed wanting to spend our lives together, but briefly and not in a ton of detail. I have told him that he is the guy I want to marry, have kids with, and grow old with. Question about retainers?

So I am going to have to get braces but I am already thinking about retainers. My friend had two of them, one that was the wire kind and the other was the clear kind. The clear kind was super gross and when I get my retainer, I would want the wire kind. My orthodontist said they do the permanent on the bottom and clear on top, but also have the option of the wire kind for the top. Do you know why they might want clear instead of wire? Should I just tell them that I would prefer the wire kind when I get my braces off? Please answer and tell me about your experiences and stuff like that! Thanks (:

So the CDC has launched this BS ''campaign'' to circumcise blacks and latinos in order to reduce the climbing hiv epidemic. Most blacks in the United States are already circumcised and it obviously hasn't helped the hiv epidemic, or stopped many from contracting it. Of course, many black men get it because they are on the downlow. This isn't necessarily their fault because black Americans seem to be more religious than most groups, and RARELY tolerate homosexuality. Due to this, gay/bi black men are less likely to be out and continue to engage in risky behaviors that result in hiv infection (and yes you can very well get infected being the penetrator or the penetrated), which they then carry to their girlfriends and wives. So now with the mentality that circumcision ''prevents'' hiv, many blacks may wear condoms less when engaging in homosexual acts, resulting in hiv infection which they may carry to females. Since homophobia is so strong in the black community, black men are MUCH more likely to stay in the closet than their white counterparts. It's not really their fault it's society's fault. Yet the CDC is still pushing this BS. What do you think of this?

Im not from Croatia nor have I been, but based on what I've seen and heard I can tell you as long as you don't flaunt it you probably won't be in any serious danger. Especially in Europe, even Eastern Europe, such things as hugging won't be paid much attention. Croatia might be homophobic, but it's not Jamaican style drag you out your house in the the night and savagely murder you with a machete homophobic. It's more like Texas in the 80's homophobic, you might get harassed or beat up at the worst for showing a public display of affection like holding hands or kissing, but they probably won't do anything overly violent to you if you keep to yourselves.

So in about an hour I'm heading to Kelly Services Ltd. to start the job orientation. What are my options for my life?

I am 18 and graduated high school about a year ago. After that I worked full time from september to december at my retail job where I was pretty much miserable so I was in the frame of mind that anything would be better than that. I went to the local university for general science because I enjoy science but I only did it to escape working my full time job. Because of that I knew that it wasn't going to lead anywhere and that I didn't want to put all my time and money into 4 years of that. So that semester ended and I am being forced to go back to full time at that horrible retail job. I have been looking into labourer jobs in the area and applied for a few with the county and the city but so far no call backs yet. I feel as though I would really like to do something more exciting instead of the 'get up, go to work/school, come home, watch tv, go to bed, repeat' lifestlye that I have been doing since I graduated. After my failed university experience I am alot more apprehensive in jumping straight into a post secondary program for fear that I will end up hating it and wasting more of my time and money. More than anything I am so done with working retail. Are there any options that I am not seeing or have not heard of? Thanks in advance.

Do you have to tell the police who was at a party if it gets busted?

Recently, the cops showed up at a party in my hometown in the woods. Everybody ran, and they didnt catch anyone until a girl showed up at the local gas station where the cops were waiting for people. They had suspicion that she ran (her clothes were riped from a barbed wire fence and was bleeding...and it was 4am). They made her blow and gave her an MIP. after this, she ratted out about 8 other people saying that the cops forced her to tell them who was at the party. She also ratted out who bought alcohol for the party. Can the police force you to tell them who was at a party like this? or did she most likely rat everyone out because she didnt want to be the only one to get caught. (all the people who she told on received MIPs in the mail, went to court, and their MIP's were not revoked)

I met my amazing gf last year and after a year of complete bliss, I've decided to introduce her to my family - I almost never bring girls home unless it's really serious. I met her parents and we got along great. However, when I introduced her to my parents, they acted like everything was fine and told me they didn't care that she is black and I am white. I recently told them I planned on proposing to her for her bday next month and my mom lost it. Never heard of wire-mesh on canvas, but for regular painting you can prepare your canvas with whatever color gesso you prefer, it's like primer---good for acrylic painting. Or you can use liquid white for oil painting---it helps with the blending process. I'm sure there are other options but those are the ones I use. Hope this helps.

If you want to gain more weight you could work out and gain muscle weight (personally I like skinny guys and I know a lot of girls that do) but I know that if you liked yourself more and acted like it, you'd draw in more people. You have to open up to people if you want them to be close and have a connection with you. If none of that helps you out maybe you should talk to a councilor but know that there is nothing wrong with it. Councilors are there to help not make you feel bad about needing one, if people were honest a lot of them would be seeing councilors anyway. If you want an organization, maybe you should volunteer at a place like Hospice as it could help you see that many people have problems and if they can see the brighter side it could help you. I have a home security camera system. It is wired, weather proof, and has night vision. In my 15 years of life I have experienced more than enough hate JUST because I'm dark skinned. I could never figure out why people seem to think that lighter automatically equals "better" and darker is associated with "bad" or "ugly". So, there are these two guys that I really like. A very good friend of mine was recently committed after a failed suicide attempt (he was within minutes of dying when he was found, no need for details) and is going to be released soon. Having bandwidth issues on xbox?

I'm not really sure how to phrase this since I am not the biggest tech guy but recently I have been having issues with my bandwidth on xbox. I am having issues not lagging in games and it only recently started to happen, I checked and even though I have three computers running on the same connection as my xbox I never had issues before, but to make sure it wasn't the issue i unplugged all computers from the router turned off the wireless connection and plugged my xbox directly into the router and I am still having issues with bandwidth, ( so both the wireless connection and my wired connection for xbox is having issues). So what it boils down to is could port forwarding for my xbox increase bandwidth and if not do you have any ideas cause I have even tried changing the broadcast channel for my router in-case another router was interfering with connection. Question about 2 12in kicker cvr's with a 1500 watt kicker amp?

ok well i bought 2 12in kicker cvr's in a custom made box for my 2005 chevy colorado. I also bought a Kicker ZX1500.1 1500watt amp. I put it all in my truck today and wired everything up. The kickers run on 2ohm each and the amp runs 1500w at 2ohm and 750w at 4 ohm. I also have a 80watt fuse in my power wire for my amp. After hooking everything up I tested them out and for the results, my lights in my truck kept dimming every time the subs hit and the amp kept turning off and going into protective mode. My 80 watt fuse also burned up. Can anyone answer the question of why all this happened? Why do all my lights dim and the fuse burned out and the amp kept cutting off and into protective mode?? what can I do to fix this problem? does the amp have too much power for just those 2 subs?

My car amp is very soft... any ideas?

I bought a second hand amplifier... 1500w Star Sound. I hooked it up to my car 2 days ago. I hooked up a different amp a couple years back so I know I did it right. The power lead is hooked up to the battery with a fuse attached. Remote wire is hooked up to the front loader as well as the RC cables. I mounted the ground wire to a metal bracket the connects onto the back seat. I sanded down so all the paints off and its pure metal...Now I plug everything in and it works fine at low volume. I turn the gain on the amp to full and it starts distorting... I turn the volume on the frontloader to max and its still really soft and still distorts... I can describe it as this.... at low volume it sounds perfect. Clear sound, nice bass etc. once i turn it louder on either the front loader or the amp it distorts and stays at same volume. The sub woofer is fine because I used it up until 2 days ago to put it in the car. Now I don't know what the problem could be... if anyone has any suggestions please help me. Amp is still under guarantee but I don't want to take it back and they test it and it works fine. The wiring kit I used is brand new. 4Gauge power cable and all.

I am 18 and graduated high school about a year ago. After that I worked full time from september to december at my retail job where I was pretty much miserable so I was in the frame of mind that anything would be better than that. I went to the local university for general science because I enjoy science but I only did it to escape working my full time job. Because of that I knew that it wasn't going to lead anywhere and that I didn't want to put all my time and money into 4 years of that. So that semester ended and I am being forced to go back to full time at that horrible retail job. I have been looking into labourer jobs in the area and applied for a few with the county and the city but so far no call backs yet. I feel as though I would really like to do something more exciting instead of the 'get up, go to work/school, come home, watch tv, go to bed, repeat' lifestlye that I have been doing since I graduated. Parents won't let me grow up?

I'm the oldest child of a younger brother who is 15, my brother was born with an extremely rare condition that ended up with having 21 operations. My mom was frequently at the hospital with him during my childhood, I don't think we ever got to fully bond...I'm 17 now, girl and entering my senior year this upcoming fall..however my mom isn't letting me grow up, at all. I am a single working woman myself but where I work at my bosses who are older than I am tend to act a certain way. The description I would say is of women in their 30’s, single although most have been in a long term relationship previously (some with kids), professionally accomplished (usually a section manager or director) and still independently active. I hooked both of em up to me kicked amp on the same positive and negative terminals and I have a kicker 250 watt mono block amp that delivers 140 watts rms at 4ohms and 250 rms at 2ohms .the subs sound great and pound and I have them in different boxes but I was just wondering how much power each sub is getting and is this doing any harm? I know the first thing people are going to probably want to say is talk to a doctor. Well I'm a female Navy Veteran and the VA doctors already evaluated me but I'm not sure if they did correctly. I was only in for 2 years before I was medically discharged after developing an anxiety disorder. I was raped once before joining the Navy and once after (no I didn't report either because I didn't want to draw attention to myself) and also before the Navy I had an ex decide to play Russian roulette with me with a 9mm Beretta after he decided not to check the clip or chamber before pulling the trigger (luckily both were empty) so I have a couple of traumatic experiences, not to mention while on ship dealing with all the B.S. of ship life isn't easy. It's been 3 years now and I have been having nightmares all the time for the past 2 years about random stuff and when they are not nightmares they are dreams about being back on the ship and I don't really associate with people now I just kind of stick around my fiance and his family. Someone suggested that I might have PTSD even though I wasn't in combat zones. I don't believe I had it before I went in either because I was still very social about 6 months before I got discharged my attitude started changing and then about 4 months till I got discharged is when a started having an anxiety disorder that still effects me today that I get prescribed Ativan for. I did a PTSD evaluation through the VA mental health and at the time the doctor asked me if the rapes still effected me today as far as dating or meeting new people. I said no but I didn't think of it at the time, that I had been with my fiance for the past 3 years so I wouldn't have known if it affected any new relationships because I met him before I got discharged and I didn't think about the fact that I have a few friends because I don't share the same mentality with a lot of other 22 year old females my age. I've become more of an introverted person. So after giving some history about me and my situation I need a second opinion to if I could possibly have PTSD. I still have my doubts about it, but I'm just getting really tired of remembering my past everyday. So if it's not PTSD what is it?

ok so my question would be why didn't you go to the unit you thought you were in and report in?? Now this is what you need to do. If you know what reserve/guard unit you are in just go to them, they have full time people there and explain the situation the the personal sgt or training NCO. They usually work from like 8-5 mon-fri... Usually what happens is when you complete basic and ait you report to your unit like within 30 days to let them know you are home and when the next drill is.. If for some reason you went to drill with another unit not sure why? I am just retired after 25years AGR/Army Senior PER SGT and we just don't discharge someone that easy for not coming to drill. Letters have to be sent out, like 3 or 4 if not more and then a letter from the CO saying your are being discharged. Most CO's in the reserves will work with you, obviously your recruiter is a dumb-*** and didn't take care of you.. SO what you need to do it look at your contract see what unit you really belong too and go seek them out like today this week and tell them the situation. If they are deployed there will be someone in the building that you can talk too or report too. If they are deployed they is always a rear detachment always... Now about the job situation, when you go back to drill you should go to college with the GI Bill, go on usajobs, craigslist or walk around your neighborhood and try and get a job. Ask your parents for help. Don't let some little dumb-*** girl ruin your life, move on SOLDIER.. Start your life.. Email me if you need anything else or if you can't find the answers your are looking for.. Oh if they discharge you they just discharge you under other than honorable in the reserver's no jail time. Basically it's called failure to show for drill after AIT. You will loose all benefits.. GO TO THE UNIT and talk to someone in person, if you get no justice ask for the 1SG's number or email..
