How much is a general labourer earning per hour in the oil sand fields in Alberta?

Between 50 to 150 dollars an hour. The temperature? Well its not Saudi Arabia, its Northern Alberta so I would assume the temperature could be anywhere between -30 to + 30 depending on the time of year. The cost of living is really high out there, at-least a thousand a month for basic accommodations. Most guys that go up there rent a room from someone in a private house until they can get established.
