A few weeks ago I saw a book at border's, and now I want to tell my friend about it because it looked hilariously weird. Now I can't think of the title. It was a teen book about a brother and sister who take care of there three younger siblings since their mom is a drunk, and the brother and sister end up falling in love. Yeah, like incest..anyway the cover was red and I think it had a barb wired heart? But it might not have been barb wired...oh and it was hardback and I think the title was one word. Question on old toyota camry alternator?

I have an 88camry. the alternator recently pooped on me. as it was going, when I would put in in gear, or turn on the AC, the engine would slow down to such a slow idle it would almost die, then it did die. they told me that this is because it was drawing on the alternator and the alternator just didn't have enough oomph to keep the car going. so I got a new alternator. first few weeks it ran great, but now,whenever I put it in gear, it runs very , very slowly,the RPM's are like 300, barely enough to keep it running. and this is without the AC on. it acts like it's about to die at any second, just like it did before replacing the alternator. but you would think that the mechanic would have tested the entire system to see if it was something else. also it has had a recent tune up with new plugs and wires and rotor, etc. it's a fuel injected car. can anything else be going on here? the car does have 235,000 miles on it and usually runs so quiet it's like an electric car, it just purrs, but now it acts like it want's to die again when you put it in gear, and it did actually die once while in gear. the RPMS are sooo low, just barely enough to keep it running while in gear.

Boyfriend soon to be ex- reassurance its over would be nice?

I've been dating him for 6 years on and off. we love each other but lately I've come to terms with the fact that its just not working out. I'd appreciate feedback as far as my decision goes AND how to leave a six year relationship is cold turkey the best way or slowly breaking off contact. I grew up with this guy so its difficult. he seems to have a minor drinking problem and has become violent once with me. he apologized and felt shameful of his actions but the next night he sat on the phone and told me I needed to be "reborn" he also says things like " you think your better than me?" when hes angry. He also told informed me when he was drunk that he believed that I was younger then him mentality wise. He says things like "your just a girl" in the negative way. He has also said Im just a bag of emotions and things of this nature. He has criticized me many times and I wonder why. Is it me did I become a walking doormat or is it him? Is he just an overcritical asshole? I feel like I demand respect just fine and I have left but the stories the same in the end he tries to be controlling and he tries to dictate my behavior. What I find funny, what I find interesting etc.
