Not trying to generalise and say that all of the UK prefers one over the other, but I'm asking just out of curiosity. I live in the UK, and I notice more American guys say that they are treated wonderfully and that English girls love to flirt with them (or maybe it's their mentality??), but when my girl friends or just American girls in general come to visit, it seems as if they get absolutely no attention at all (not saying they automatically deserve attention for being American, but I meant in comparison to the guys) or are sometimes off-putting to natives. Any thoughts?
